Most Android phones come with Google services built-in. In fact, Google owns Android, and many phone manufacturers (like Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, Oppo, etc.) use Google’s services as the core of their operating system.
That’s why, when you set up a new Android phone, you’re usually asked to sign in with a Google account.
Once signed in, this Google account is connected to the Android phone, and the phone automatically and regularly backs up data to the cloud.
If you connect the Google account to your SpyX account, SpyX can access and read the backup data stored in Google Cloud. This lets you monitor an Android device without installing any app on the target phone.
Go to Settings. Scroll down and look for “Google” in the menu. If it’s there, the device uses Google services.
You can also check Google Play Store. If it exists and works, the phone is Google-certified.
1. Go to Settings > Google
2. You’ll see the email address of the connected Google account at the top.
If there’s no Google account on the target phone:
Tap Sign in, then enter a Google account and password. You can use your own Google account or create a new one.
Once signed in, this account will be linked to the device and can be connected to your SpyX account for cloud monitoring.
1. Go to Settings > Google
2. Tap All Service
3. Scroll down and tap Backup
4. Make sure Backup by Google One is turned ON
5. Tap Back up now to create the latest backup
Follow the instructions on the SpyX dashboard to connect the Google account you just found on the target device. Once connected, SpyX will start reading the cloud backup from the target device.
